...our cutomers say. This has exactly been the purpose of Békés Meat Company Ltd. We preserve our traditional, additive-free craft meat specialities by using salt and smoke, then maturing them alfresco, the way butchers used to do so in the past.
Our flavour is tradition itself.
The thought of a product line came up years ago, when the customers of our butcher’s were dissatisfied after buying and consuming the beautifully packaged and attractive products, saying that weenies, cold cuts and ’lecsókolbász’ (a spicy cooked smoked sausage made specifically for serving as part of the dish ’lecsó’, a vegetable stew with peppers and tomatoes) are not like they used to be.
